Hanchey temple located in kampong cham province where is one part of cambodia ;possibility the first to built entirly of sandstone by khmer people.Hanchey temple it was built in 521year by khmer king (phoveakvoroman5).the purpose of this temple who make for hindu religion that khmer king beleave that when they died they will go to the better place and visnu god will bless them.every body will wonder why during 6century all of them built temple on the mountain beacause they want to compair to somaru mountain in india for hindu religion.from the past until now this temple was broken some part may be 40% beacause of the nature and wheather.inside this temple has a river(mekong river) it is a beautiful place and during khmer festival has a lot of khmer people visit that place. it not only this temple also has two more temple where is near this temple and on the mountain also has buddism temple.during khmer new year a lot of people visit that place and play popular game at those place.at the end hanchey mountain is a popular place please do not forget that place and please visit that place together.All foriegners alway visited that place it the most beautiful place in kompong siem commune.
